Man City expected to raise over £70m from sales of fringe players

Man City expected to raise over £70m from sales of fringe players this summer

Man City’s summer transfer targets

The summer transfer window has technically been open less than a day, but were have already seen countless news emerging over transfer dealings.

Manchester City, for their part, look to be eyeing a fairly expensive summer window.

With Sergio Aguero gone, it would make sense for the Sky Blues to be in the market for a new centre-forward this summer.

And, it appears that the Manchester powerhouse are doing exactly that, with it reported that Harry Kane is City’s preferred choice to replace Aguero.

It is not just Kane, though, who City are said to be eyeing, with ESPN claiming that:

Man City planning to sell off fringe stars

No fee for Grealish is mention by ESPN, though you would assume Aston Villa would demand a fairly high sum for their star man.

Kane, meanwhile, looks set to cost any potential suitor well north of £100m.

So, if City do want to target both of the aforementioned players, you would imagine they will need to sell some as well.

And, the Daily Mail are now reporting that Man City are expected to raise over £70m from the sales of fringe stars this summer.

Leeds United are believed to be triggering a £13m deal for Jack Harrison.

Elsewhere, Porto are said to be interested in making a move for Pedro Porro on a permanent basis, with the full-back valued at £15m – whilst Sporting have been credited with an interest in striker Lukas Nmecha.

Yangel Herrera, Ivan Ilic and Morgan Rogers are also tipped as players who could be moved on this summer:
